Joy Dukeshire graduated from Dalhousie University with a B.Sc. in 1972 and received her LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1975. She was accepted to the Alberta Bar in 1976. She opened Dukeshire Law in 1977 and has been practising in the areas of family law, real estate, and wills and estates ever since.
